Project: Hatton Special School

Bolt & Heeks were appointed to design and construct a new single-storey extension with an aluminium-clad roof to provide four new classrooms together with some reconfiguration and refurbishment works to the existing building.

The school, which was fully occupied throughout, caters for children with special needs which called for extensive liaison with the Head Teacher to schedule the works around the school’s day-to-day routine and to prevent the works upsetting the children. We not only successfully completed the project but were also able to complete five weeks ahead of programme.
