Project: Furze Children's Centre

PHASE 1: Demolition of existing hall, kitchen and stores and the construction of a new two storey building to provide kitchen, hall, classroom and toilet facilities together with a rooftop playground area.

PHASE 2: Refurbishment of parts of the existing building, including demolition and new partitions and associated works to provide kitchen, toilet facilities, playrooms and sleep areas.

ENVIRONMENTAL WORKS included the installation of solar roof panels and thermal heat store to provide hot water for the centre, the use of environmentally friendly materials, including bamboo flooring, and natural ventilation.
