Project: Abbey Court School

The works comprise the construction of a new single-storey two classroom extension to the existing school, along with the refurbishment of adjoining classrooms to suit the new extension, complete with associated external works.

The construction of the extension is traditional strip foundations with block and beam floor, a steel-framed superstructure with masonry inner skin and timber cladding externally.

The school was in occupation throughout the works and so the Site Manager liaised with the headteacher to ensure the works did not interfere with the school’s day-to-day activities.
