Bolt & Heeks entered a team in this year’s CARE 24 Peaks Challenge, sponsored by Contract Journal, completing this tough event in just 21hrs 32min. Through the generous sponsorship of clients, subcontractors and Bolt & Heeks’ own staff, the team raised around £6,000 for this year’s appeal. CARE International supports projects in developing countries as well as providing emergency help when a natural disaster occurs. John Catlin was also walking on behalf of a local charity, the Rhys Daniels Trust, raising £200 which will support the Trust’s “Home from Home” projects to provide accommodation for seriously ill children and their families. The team comprised Ian Palin, John Catlin, Terry Wilson, Dave Cannon, John Bryson, Matthew Hunter and Reid Wilson with Mark Sargeant acting as the team’s steward. Well done to everyone!
